“But I’m shy” she said when I asked her if she would do a photo session in a rented studio. I didn’t believe her then and I still don’t. You may recognize Crystal from our home page. She is the woman peeking from behind the veil. When I handed her a hat – this is what she did with it. 
Peek-A-Boo! Crystal made it so easy to show her at her best and we had a BLAST! You can read more about how this session came about in our post titled “Making Lemonade”.
Wow! Not only was it easier than I ever thought it’d be to convince Nikki to do a photo session in the rain, she jumped at the chance and nailed it!
She brought several wardrobe changes and this beautiful purple gown put a whole new meaning to “Purple Rain”. She was a pro at posing and all I really needed to do was make sure I lit her properly. But before we created the simulated ‘rain’ shots, I knew we had to highlight the awesome feather earings she had. Checkout the one I call “Feather Fun”. Great sport and great fun! Charity B. I envisioned this shot along with the one at the top of this post about 1 and 1/2 years before we were finally able to create it. I had the vision and I had the woman wanting to do this and all I needed now was a grand piano.
This photo session was held at The Village at Woods Edge in Franklin Va about 1.5 hours away. What a sport Charity was to travel that far to a place she knew nothing about. But I think you’ll agree with her – it was worth it! We spent a couple of hours there and created lots of images that she and her family will enjoy for a long time to come. (Not to mention how much we enjoyed listening to her play. She was TERRIFIC!).
What do these women have in common? They are the storm. Like you, each of them are busy doing multiple things for multiple people at multiple times.
- They get ‘things’ done and then some.
- They are women who think of others before themselves.
- They are women who will go without to give to others
- They are WOMAN.
