Family Gatherings

Hale – Hale – The Gang’s all here! Or something like that. I forget how the song goes but the point is when is a better time to take an extended family photo than when everyone is already gathered around.

Thanksgiving is often a time when family comes to town to visit. Are you hosting Thanksgiving Dinner this year? Why not get everyone together now to take a family photo? You know it probably won’t be until next year when you’re all together again – right? Even if you’re not hosting it, why not suggest it! Everyone will think you’re a genius and you’ll be the family hero for coming up with the idea.

Seriously, when will you all be getting together again? This is family and they’re all we have. Dr. Seuss put it nicely when he said, “Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it’s a memory”.   These family gatherings are collections of brief fleeting moments that may seem inconsequential at the time but 10-15-20 years from now they are triggers to memories of those
times. They are the fabric of our lives. Our stories.

While this is on your mind you might consider letting us help you create those precious memories. We can light and pose you to flatter you to create an eye popping, stop-in-your-tracks portrait. We can set up a time to call, chat and see if we’re a good fit for each other. We call it the DISCOVERY.
