Must have Christmas Photos

Photos that will make you smile year after year

So many families are spread out all over the country and Christmas time is often the only time they can get together. So if this is the case with your family or even if they’re just around the corner here are some tips of photos to take  to help you remember and enjoy all year long and beyond.

1. All the kids in front of the tree on Christmas morning

Take the same picture every year and put them in the same album to see how much they change year after year.

They’re all grown up now? So what, get them all together and keep doing it. Or how about the grand kids?

 2. The Dinner Table

with everyone there just before starting to eat. It’ll highlight the food and make a memory of everyone who enjoyed it. It’ll also help you remember who brought what dish. Don’t forget to include yourself. Set a self-timer on your camera/phone camera and prop it up then quick, jump into the frame. [Side Note:  You may be able to set the shutter on your camera to fire by voice activation – like saying SHOOT!)

3. Grandma & Grandpa

Not to put a downer on the mood here but someday these photos will mean so much to you.

This is one of the last photos of my mom that I have. I took it while on a river cruise with the whole family while we were visiting her and dad at their home in Florida for Christmas in 2015. Sadly, she was not with us to celebrate Christmas in 2016 and this photo has taken on a whole new meaning.
