Use Reflections: 
These types of shots always catch attention. See if you can catch the reflection of; the environment, people around you, sights etc. in someone’s sunglasses, car side mirror, reflective store front window, water…whew! 
The possibilities just keep going. So, this year, instead of putting your subject in front of that reflective ice cream store window, have them face the window and shoot their reflection in the window as they enjoy that oh so delicious cherry ice cream sugar cone with fudge topping and sprinkles and…( I better stop now because now I want one too!)
Change Your Perspective: 
Sometimes less is more. You don’t always have to show it all to let people know what it is that you are photographing. Sometimes just a piece of it, put into context, is all you need to add impact.
Take Advantage: 
of; the weather. Is the weather not cooperating with your plans? So what! Take advantage of it with some unusual pics. Start a snowball fight, throw some leaves around, splash each other and above all snap away! Or, just the opposite. The weather is gorgeous and you’re having the time of your life, then snap away and share the moment with all your friends!
